A new edition will be added to the Air Jordan 15 Nike Doernbecher. Rumor is that the shoe will be dropped mid-December. Once a year since'04 Nike teams up with Doernbecher Childrens Hospital and selects patients to design a very special collection of footwear and apparel. Doernbecher Childrens Hospital is located in Portland, Oregon.
Talented Donovan Dinneen an 11 year old who was selected to design these DragonBall Z inspired 15s. Donovan was diagnosed with a life-threatening meningococcal infection. He fought back with a kidney transplant with help from his amazing doctors and his very supportive family.
Donovan designed these DragonBall Z sneakers after his favorite anime show. Dressed in a black rich suede, embossed with a dragon scale design. Accents of gold metal that include Donovans birthday and the "protection" Japanese symbol.
